On 3 October 2026, Green Collar Pakistan held its first learning session. We introduced our shared goal: developing a practical climate careers guide for students in Pakistan.
Participants explored the range of work connected to climate, from renewable energy and water to finance, journalism, and community preparedness. We discussed how informational interviews help us understand what a role involves, the skills people use, and how they entered their field.
The next step is professional outreach. Participants were asked to contact their first professional before 7 October and share a brief progress update. These conversations are for learning and research.
